Why Isn't There A "Straight Pride" Month?
June marks Gay Pride month where the LGBTQ+ community both celebrate and commemorate the historical struggle they've endured (and still endure) to acquire the same rights heterosexual citizens in this country have. Hannah Cranston and Jason Carter talk about why June is the selected month for LGBTQ+ recognition and why there's no "straight pride month". Let us know what city you'll be marching in to support our fellow citizens! Don't forget guys, if you like this video please "Like," "Favorite," and "Share" it with your friends to show your support - it really helps us out! If there's something you'd like to see us discuss on the show, tweet us about it! See you tomorrow :) ***************************************************** Every day ThinkTank challenges preconceptions expose amazing new facts and discoveries, explores different perspectives, and inspires you to learn more about the world and the people around you.
